The 2022 George and the Dragon Bi-Metallic Gold £50 Sovereign

One of the world’s first £50 sovereigns to be minted using two types of gold – Rose gold and yellow gold!  The coin features a brand new rendition of St George slaying the dragon by artist Jody Clark, only used in the year of The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.   The £50 sovereign is 65mm in diameter and weighs 5oz.  Its original mintage limitation was just 19 and it is sold out.
